We won't be leaving the EU. We will renegotiate various terms and be back in the club by Christmas.

Immigration will not change and we will all be poorer in the short term.

This is all on good authority from a friend in the city who is mates with someone who is a bit chummy with big Dave
So, I read someone who knows someone who knows someone who knows the prime minister say that we're going to not leave the EU. I think I have this on even better authority than you do, I can't wait for someone to tell me that a friend of a cousin of someone who read me say it knows it's true, then it'll be a dead cert.

My dog's groomer's tennis partner's wife says that her financial adviser's second cousin twice removed's brother-in-law who is definitely in the know thinks we should all have a nice cup of tea or coffee and a biscuit.

yeah, made me cringe a bit at times..
some of his comments didn't seem to a good way to ease the way to a good exit deal
He's powered by chaos and rudeness- he has been acting this way for years.
the thing is.. there is some sense in some of what he says
the problem is the rest of the stuff he says..
it's as if he starts with a pretty solid argument and then hammers it home with something stupid

I don't think that needs to come from a source, its fairly evident that's now going to happen. The back peddling is so fierce I can hear the strain on the chain links.

For future voting I suggest a government warning on the ballot paper. 'Tick the correct box or you'll screw democracy up'

just add a box to tick "do you want to stick it to the Tories"
then those that wish can tick it whilst everyone else can cast a vote on the issue at hand

I think that should be a separate thing, so that this time we could have voted five ways.

Stick it to the Tories (don't care about the EU thing)
    Leave
Leave in order to stick it to the Tories
    Remain
Remain but stick it to the Tories anyway

We're going to need a bigger ballot paper. Some people might have wanted to stick it to the EU but not to the Tories, some to the Tories but not the EU, some both...

Maybe we should vote via the medium of interpretive dance.

so maybe we could have a ballot matrix to cover off all permutations of staying, leaving and to which particular governing body you wish to stick it to..

then maybe 11% of the electorate could win this by a comfortable margin

I think we'll be staying. The EU is ratcheting up the pain and we've got no leader - well done Cameron.

Merkel says 'no special deal with the UK' - well have to take a Norway style deal or nothing (big fees, free movement, bound by the rules but get free market access)

The EU and Belgium has set up a group/company to get British companies to relocate to the EU, especially banks. Funds will be available.

Sturgeon is meeting EU leaders on Friday - Junker thinks a way can be found for Scotland to Remain in the EU.

The pound and markets will plunge tomorrow.

Remember, it's easier to criticise than create!

Lots of spoiled ballots with people ticking lots of boxes, thus leaving the real decision to people who read and understood the question and feel strongly either way. Good plan, actually.

I'd feel compelled to fill in the matrix in such a manner that it either reveals a picture of a kitten, or a QR code that resolves to guyfawkeshaditright.org.uk

I have no idea, so political uncertainty all round.
