Friday morning is gonna be really interesting. I might even take the day off.

I admit I am more than a little concerned that Corbyn is succeeding in brainwashing the U.K. population with his false promises and lies.

You do realise that if elected the majority of the Labour manifesto is bullshit and will not be implemented as it's full of impossible outcomes don't you?

I am a realist, and I know that even if he does win, which he likely won't, he'll struggle to get a lot of that through the house. I do know however, that he wants a fairer society and to bring integrity back to politics. There's a lot of people needing something to put their faith back in politicians.

FYI, I'm not a Geordie. I'm from Surrey, moved away 13 years ago and got here via West Yorkshire and Cumbria owing to work moves, but whatever. In my lifetime I've voted blue, red, yellow, green, red, yellow and now red again. I'm the very definition of a swing voter. I vote on policies and the needs of the country. Accusing Corbyn of lying when you stand with the party that has become synonymous with lies, misdirection and deception is laughable!

Anyway capo, I'm always happy to have a reasoned debate with someone. Let me know if you're interested in that instead of just throwing childish insults around and we'll get backto it. For now, I'm out.

I sometimes wonder if Corbyn is preaching to the converted though.
Also left crowds to tend to be more enthusiastic

There's certainly an element of truth in that, but I think we're seeing many people come out for these rallies that don't normally. The sheer numbers he's getting both in person and online are way above what you'd normally get.

I'd say that the thing to look at is the forum thread on this election and compare it to the 2015 thread. There are a lot of people who have been coverted in the last few months who were not supporting Labour in 2015.

Corbyn's policies may not be to anyone's tastes but the party has delivered a manifesto that is markedly more organised than 2015, has overall made less shitty interview fuckups (despite Abbott) than 2015, has undoubtedly delivered far better television debate performances than 2015, and hasn't yet produced anything as wantonly idiotic as that fucking stone tablet.

May now says she will tear up human rights laws in order to deport terrorists...

Very typical of the sort of authoritarian stupidity she seems to specialise in. She was trying this sort of thing for years when she was Home Secretary, and was constantly blocked by the courts, rightly.

The slim difference is between the two manifestos.

One is real the other is a laughable joke that will never be implemented. Therefore Corbyn is lying to the electorate with promises that can never be achieved.

One is real and the other is a laughable joke that will never be implemented… because it contains nothing of any substance anyway and will be u-turned on faster than you can say Dementia Tax if the Tories do get back in.

So you stupidly support terrorists remaining in this country and not deporting them?

Why would you not not support this action? We need to take a stand against these religious nuts.

Personally I would rather put them in a boat and send it back where it came from.
