    STOP PRESS

Just got an email from someone I trust saying YouGov poll (can't be published yet) predicts hung parliament or narrow Labour win. Labour vote surging ...

Could be pants of course ..
    Is this the exit poll?
Why can't it be published ? Probably because it's not accurate!

Most of my customers I have spoken to today have voted for the Conservative Party. They understand the need for a strong and stable government.

Labour don't give a fuck about business and long term economic growth.
They just want to tax and waste and subsidise people's lifestyle choices.
If it is the exit poll it can't be published until after the polls close because it'll be the most accurate poll we'll see and might influence voters in the last few hours of polling.

Remember the 2015 election? The exit poll was a shock to commentators because it was considerably more favourable to the Conservatives than any of the previous results. We'll see just after 10pm.

Don't talk politics and don't throw stones. Your royal highnesses.

Loads of silent Tory voters this time round. Exit poll will be the same as 2015 Boris and Theresa will be corking open the Bollinger just after 3am !

Many Tory voters don't want to be seen to be out on a limb and want to be all in it together. In reality they understand what a shower of shit the Labour Party are and have voted with their heads.

Doctors will be voting Conservative today
Not any of the doctors I know.
Pah ... a friend of mine is a top surgeon at Southampton General and he earns about £300K ... think he's going to vote Labour? No way. People vote with their wallets. And as he says the NHS has bigger problems than cash - he cites us for failing to take care of ourselves.
I imagine top surgeons and consultants are outnumbered by junior doctors though. Can't see too many of those voting for a party containing the other Jeremy with the appropriate rhyming slang...
you're talking about a group who are very likely to become top 5% taxpayers, so don't be so sure
Most people vote with their bank balance and long term future in mind.
No they don't. Most people vote Tory, apparently.
Thank goodness we have a sensible population.
I earn more than you and voted labour

That and the idea of Labour or the Tory's getting into power again after their recent shitshow is horrifying.
Fixed that for you, people seem to have forgotten how bad labour politics has been prior to the election
Don't twist my words. The election is/was the Torys' to lose. Theresa May has fucked up royally, and made the laughing stock that was Corbyn look like a genuine leader. As good as Labour and Corbyn have been in this campaign, the Torys have been dreadful.

I voted based on the future, not the past.

As Fallon is my constituency MP, it was largely irrelevant who i voted for. For a change, I voted Green, first time I've deviated in 30 years.
