Can anything be done about the Problems trying to use IE11 with this site?

Can post if you use the "compatibility" setting, but it throws the formatting of the site out something rotten it does ....

I have no way to test/debug I'm afraid, I don't have IE11 installed (and can't install it without losing IE9).

I need a much more specific explanation that that if I'm going to investigate it.

There are two things:

1. When I come to the main site I tend to open each subforum in a new tab. When I open the first one, my whole PC freezes for about 3 or 4 seconds.

2. Once in a subforum, I open each thread I want to read in a new tab. Now, when I close a tab and go to the next one, the new tab shows the content of the old one! I have to then jump to a different tab again and back again in order to see the real content. Its really weird and I've never seen this on any other website.

Pretty sure that can't be anything to do with the site. 

Nothing you can do in HTML or Javascript should be able to make the PC freeze or make one tab affect another one.

You'd think so, but it happens consistently and only happens on this site and this site only.

I'm fairly techy but I've no idea what the problem is. I'm on vista by the way.

Yes. You'd have a point if it had happened on any other site in the last 5+ years that I've been using it

Guys/Mods seriously - re FS/FT/WTD etc if you can work it out to "improve" the thread title, then the thread does its job already. Are you *that* bored? :-D

I mainly access the forum via the "Discussions" page and having prefixes makes it easier to distinguish between conversations in the "Classifieds" and the other categories (as well as making the topic clearer).
I assume I'm not the only one using the forum in this manner.

If that's the only reason, changing the board titles in the classifieds section would solve it with a moment's effort
