They’re bringing back The Darling buds of may. Different cast of course, I’ll give it a go but I bet it will have nowhere near the charm of the original.

Detectorists was probably the best escapism in a series I'd seen over the last few years, but along came Paul Whitehouse and Bob Mortimer and their fishing thing. And it's just superb.

For feel good viewing I'm partial to The Durrels. Sunny and funny, you just can't beat a bit of Greek.

Another fan of The Detectorists here, so beautifully crafted. My all time favourite though is Northern Exposure of which I own all the DVDs. I never get bored of it, wonderful stuff.
