Isn't Lucy a bit of a rip off of Limitless?

She possibly turned into god ... a USB compatable windows-ready god. Or died... and possibly left instructions on how to be a god/USB stick (though apparently the answer is take lots of drugs... not sure why that needs an instruction manual)

If Lucy was written under the influence of extremely powerful hallucinogenic drugs

Defiance wasn't bad but a little bit clichéd.. why does every director have to portray the Nazis as the bad guys?  It's just gets really obvious in the end.

You need to watch Iron Sky...

    Dracula Untold - meh/10

Nothing is particularly wrong with it, but it's unoriginal and bland. Some action - which is over-the-top to the level of Kung-Fu movies. Some acting - which is average. Some stuff happens then the credits roll.

Iron Sky's alright, great idea but I was a bit disappointed when I actually saw it.

The Descendants. Starring George Clooney. For some reason I liked it. Sad, though.

I like all Alexander Payne's films (very different from the cult/horror movies I normally watch), they're all more or less funny but have that element of loss and sadness, without being sentimental.  Have you seen
    Nebraska?

Has anyone seen 'Her', another Scarlett Johansson movie, but just her voice this time.  It's about 100 times better than Lucy.

It wasn't a hit, but I really liked it.

    Also

    Marlin

No, I haven't. But I'll look it up since you mention it.

Saw '71 this afternoon. Not bad. Brit soldier gets separated from his unit in Catholic Belfast. Plot-wise it's a bit like Lone Survivor, but with the added difficulty of not always knowing which side everybody's really on.

I saw it. It was kind of sad in a way. Very good though.

Just saw a screening of The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, newly restored for its 40th anniversary, at the London Film Festival.  The original and best.

    Edge of Tomorrow.

    Nonsense but highly enjoyable nonsense!

I’m so bored I might as well be listening to Pink Floyd

"Rush". Pretty good, apart from some artistic licence being taken with the locations. One minute they were supposed to be at Paul Ricard circuit in the south of France, and the next thing you know they're at Brands Hatch. This is the problem when you're an F1 geek.
