    Rubber?  Yeah, I've seen it.
Oh good, I was worried I imagined it.

It may have been a (very small scale) mass hallucination.

Yeah I've seen Rubber, it's actually better than I was expecting. Well for a film about a mass murdering car tyre. Pretty unique field that one.
Not something I'd watch again, but if your curious give it a whirl.
I would love to change my username, but I fully understand the T&C's (it was an old band nickname). So please feel free to call me Dave.

My lad thought "Interstellar" was very good, but I've had mixed reports about it. Dunno whether to bother or not now.

I just watched The Legend of Hercules (the one with Kellan Lutz, not the one with The Rock).

Oh dear oh dear.  There is nothing to recommend it other than the fact they weren't playing for laughs.

  • Lone Survivor - not a war/army film man usually but I really enjoyed it and the true story element gave feeling to the film, especially the real footage from the training camps at the beginning.  I would recommend it.

Hmm, mrs B and I were planning on seeing Interstellar this week, but sounds like Imitation Game might be better somehow.

Just saw 2001: A Space Odessey on the big screen. (I believe a number of cinemas were showing it tonight as part of a BFI showing of classic science fiction films.) shows it age in several places but still an excellent movie. Did wonder what substances Kubrick was on some of the time though.

    Still love this sequence...

I play guitar because I enjoy it rather than because I’m any good at it

We watched a Colin Farrell thing called 'Dead Man Down' the other day, quite an enjoyable couple of hours despite the seemingly prerequisite American 'promising plot descends into shoot-em-up' ending.

Battleship. erm, best that can be said is that it's 2 hours of my life I'm not getting back.

The Way Back (I think it's called) about a group of Gulag prisoners escaping from Siberia. Brilliant stuff, love it to be, really well filmed (must've been hell to work on though).

I'm not locked in here with you, you are locked in here with me.

Re watched the Grand Budapest Hotel.

Super film. Witty, clever, and great fun.

I’m so bored I might as well be listening to Pink Floyd

Saw that too. Agreed it was awful. The speech the captain gives to the old timers is hysterical though.
