    Frank,

Was good but to be honest I was disappointed as I though it would be about the legendary Frank Sidebottom.

Hey, I've now found the only other person who has ever watched this! :)

I'm currently watching Metallica's Through the Never.

So far it's mostly a massive WTF in between concert* footage.

I can't work out if there's a story line or not.

*I'm assuming it's concert footage, unless it's "fake" concert footage.

Edit, I gave up after 45 minutes, it's crap. Neither a film, nor a live concert, needs to be one or the other.

I watched the Ridley Scott/Russell Crowe/Cate Blanchett 'Robin Hood' last night - I'd never seen it before.

What were they thinking? Total and utter drivel.

The final laugh-out-loud moment was when the French invasion fleet arrives in wooden replicas of D-Day landing craft crossed with Greek galleys :)). It would have been less ridiculous in Dr. Who, frankly. Not to mention that they're trying to land on the only beach for miles which is backed by high cliffs perfectly suited to archers… doh!

I'm not sure the Kevin Costner version wasn't better - at least that was played partly for laughs. (Well, Alan Rickman and Morgan Freeman did, anyway…)

    4/10. It wasn't even exciting.

Watched it last night and really liked it.  Not sure where all the bad press came from ?

It's a Japanese film in English, and Keanu is wooden as ever, but despite this I loved it.
Imagine something sharp and witty here ......

  • Guardians of the Galaxy.
It has some nice moments ( visual effects, bit of humour, soundtrack) but it's just sci fi wibble wibble to me.
Anyway, all the rock cover bands on here should be doing this after watching the fillum:

  • Frank Sidebottom - what was that film? About the guy going to the cabin with them to make an album, and... I wont spoil the rest. Not great IMO!

Saw "Kingsman" today - really liked it.

I had forgotten how funny Beavis and Butthead were. I was 'made' to re-watch Beavis and Butthead Do America by our 10 yr old daughter at the weekend. Inbetween going to my shed for gins and cigs, I howled.

I was weak as my wife had previously left and taken the children with her, but he did let me have them Monday night, so I felt obliged to give 'em what they wanted. And I was a bit pissed. I had put all of the fire away, and the sharp things away though.

(I'm sorry chaps, but it was fckn funny from like 20 or so years ago).
