    The Frozen Ground.

    True story based. V good.

Again, Cage. No idea what the fuck's going on there, but the dude's making good films.

Occulus ( spll?). Got a bit bored in the end but it's not terrible, a few good moments and I still love Karen Gillan.

    Yup, excellent film.

I watched it over Christmas and was a bit disappointed, it was all too dull and predictable.  The director's previous film, Absentia, is pretty good - very low budget but quite creepy and it's not done in the usual ham-fisted "horror movie" style, it's more subtle.

Speaking of low budget horror movies, I watched another one today, Devoured.  A slow-burner but really rather good.

I roughly guessed the ending about 20 minutes ( maybe sooner) in. I wasn't trying to work it out at all just seemed so bloody obvious. The bit with the ( SPOILER ALERT) apple and the light bulb had me freaking out for a few seconds though.

    Kingsmen : secret service

Great fun and possibly the most un-noble reason to save the world

It was just so entertaining, can't ask for much more than that in a film. The church scene was brilliant.

Haywire. On telly the other night.

Spy thriller with decentish plot. Tick.

Loads of Kung fu type fighting/ car chase/ intrigue.Tick.

Great cast: Michael Fassbinder, Michael Douglas, Antonio Banderas, Ewan McGregor. Tick.

Somehow still managed to be shit though.

Well...me and the missus played some new Mortal Kombat on xbox one recently so we thought - why not watch the old MK films for fun...

Yeah lol... I've seen them ages ago as a kid but my god. ..the 2nd one (Mortal Kombat - Annihilation ) was probably one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Ever!
Bloody hell, I challange You - is there anything worse than that? ;)

Ex-Machina - very good and clever film about AI (Artificial Intelligence)

Mad Max - Fury Road - Bonkers but superbly executed, great film

Recently saw it too. Could equally be all about human intelligence, or arrogance.

I wrote my prediction of the twist at the end whilst he was still on the ferry.

Best line in the whole film is the Mark Ruffalo character calling after "Ted" at the end and getting no response, makes you think ;)

A sig-nat-eur? What am I meant to use this for ffs?! Is this thing recording?
