I think the days of Mick Wall getting his name into a song on an album by possibly the biggest band around are long gone, though.
(And for the avoidance of doubt, that's not an "anti-woke" sentiment, it's right that we're more considerate of people's feelings now, but things were different then and I did enjoy that kind of opinionated music journalism.)
Having said all that, Simon Price has been in the business a long time and he must have encountered a lot of boorish rock star behaviour, yet he writes as if Oasis were somehow uniquely terrible people.
No sign of ballot wins for me or Mrs Ed yet either.
