Meh, I hear far worse at the pub and nobody gets sacked or barred. In fact I've been insulted on here a few times and laughed it off, I'm not sure what he did but I for one enjoy his banter/posts.

Wis for that mate-I find him for the most part good value and can have a laugh with him, sometimes it gets a bit too much bit he's not the only one on here that I think that of.

We're all capable of it including me. If someone does my head in that much on here I just ignore it-the real life equivalent of walking away...were all grown ups here....

As an aside I get that some people need protecting from abuse online but for me if an online avatar called me a knob or whatever I'd just laugh it off-it's just the Internet, why would you let it bother you?

I think he's mellowed rather nicely, he did used to be always baiting people for an argument about a year ago, but now I think he is a really valued forum contributor.

We do need people to stir thing us a bit, it's just a question of knowing where the line is.

In fact, I need his advice as I'm thinking of getting a Kemper in the New Year sales, but he should be back by then

Perhaps it needs to be reopened.

If we are a bit inconsistent it's because we actually do such a small amount of modding that we forget what we did last time.

Despite popular opinions to the contrary, I don't actually think he often is abusive for the sake of it.

Drew says some daft things and a lot of sensible things.    After a few beers I'm sure many of us have those moments, I know I do - just he does it online.

At least you know where you stand and Drew will speak his mind (without a filter).  I prefer that than the the pseudo pretending to be intellectual hinting and being pc just to try and look clever approach of a couple of people.  

Just a thought - I didn't see the insults but did they happen in SC?   I (wrongly??) assumed that it was fair game there and if you can't handle the heated discussion the stay away...
