The "inny menny miny moe" incident was not broadcast.  It was leaked to a left wing newspaper by someone with access to the footage.  Clarkson was subsequently hauled over the coals for it.  When I worked with the BBC it was a disciplinary offence to leak programme material to the media.  I don't recall the BBC announcing an enquiry or disciplinary action pertaining to the leak though.  I wonder why.

Well placed source says Clarkson has gone .. the Top Gear boys are out of contract and were about to sign a three year deal until this happened. It's rumoured Sky will offer £10 million to lure them away from the BBC and set-up a rival show.

So you dont have a problem with a BBC employee being racist but you do have a problem with the fact that the person who revealed his racism wasnt investigated for breach of confidentiality?

FWIW, I'm not a Top Gear or a Clarkson fan. I just can't stand prima donna thought police who think they know best for everyone.

What I mean by that is that I don't think that there would be the level of debate going on were he and his programme on Sky Tv, those that love him would be up in arms against the banning and those that don't wouldn't give a shit. 

I don't like him because he's a cunt, but if he was cunting around on someone else's dollar then I wouldn't give a fuck.
