    He is a fab player.

I’ve really enjoyed this World Cup, the discussions here and elsewhere forums, the games, England’s outcomes - 1 lost game by 1 point compared to all of the papers, commentators and armchair specialists that we all are.  An extremely good performance by them which shows excellent character and therefore some hope for the future.

I also saw signs of a revival for Wales which is always good.  Scotland to hopefully continue their improvements over recent years, and hopefully Ireland will use this disappointment to raise their game even further, which would be good to see.

I hope Eng & Wales can maintain an upward trajectory. This coming 6 Nations could be one of the most competitive for a long time.

Agreed, but France & Ireland will still be the ones to beat !

Imagine something sharp and witty here ......

Need to take a step back to appreciate that for 2023, England have surpassed Wales in the men's six nations, women's six nations, and the rugby world cup.

"Be turgid" seems to work better than "spread 'em cheeks".
I guess youre being ironic.  If not i think you should aim higher.

Remember that ARG missed that penalty towards the end.  One understands why coaches pick Farrell.
In fairness, Arg had subbed Boffelli who is probably the best kicker in world.

If you saw the NZ v SA game earlier this year from the championship then you’d be hoping for a similar game tonight

Hope it is not a bland affair as they know each other so well

Hope NZ win - with style

SA taking a big gamble with their bench.  7 forwards, and no specialist scrum half or fly half.  If a halfback gets injured early on, they will be in a pickle.

In fairness, Damian Willemse has played literally every single position in back line for Stormers. He's played 10 at test level.

Can New Zealand do what England did to Argentina in the Group Stages? Argentina, the team that slayed the Welsh in the Semi Finals, only to concede 3rd place to England, Champions of The Northern Hemisphere.

  • Am I the only one who thought that the NZ try (the one awarded) came after the ball was spilled forward? Does anyone know why the try was given?

    Because it wasn’t deemed forward.

    Amazing!
Sorry if I missed it but have you told us why you are there? Reporting, coaching, supporting etc

Yeah, I kind of got that but the spillage happened pretty much just NZ side of the 22m line and landed goal side of it. I'm curious to know what logic was applied as it seemed a far more straightforward decision than the previous one where they had to dig through the footage to find the knock on.

thought the same but the replay shows it went backwards out of the hands, then "bounced" forwards  -  that's backwards

    Ive only just watched it,
just because you don't, doesn't mean you can't
just because you do, doesn't mean you should.
