Saw him do it live at Birmingham Town Hall about that time. Fantastic and very memorable concert even though he was pissed as usual.

Got loads of new music for Christmas, so my day has consisted of:

Joe Bonamassa's "Different Shades of Blue". Great album. 

Decapitated's "Blood Mantra". Not as good as their last couple of albums but still enjoyable, and neck-snappingly brutal. 

Steel Panther's "All You Can Eat". As good as ever, love them  

A Dave Brubeck compilation my sister got me - never really checked him out before but love it, brilliant. 

And I just bought an extra present to myself from Bandcamp - Ginger Wildheart's triple album 555% from a couple of years ago. Thirty songs for a tenner. And of course because they're by Ginger, they'll all be brilliant and get stuck in my head, never to come out.
