Been getting into Asetto Corsa Competizione, also looking forward to Forza Motorsport.
I’m looking at the cheaper fanatec options for Xbox.
My son has a logitech wheel for his PC, that’s pretty good but not so keen on the table
mounting so may get a basic cockpit also.
Horses for courses and all that.

That might explain why it felt so basic and outdated then, I'll check out SC2 then - I do like a good sniping/stealth game
It looks interesting, but there are hardly any reviews.
2 weeks away for anyone with early access. I've never had an Xbox but their marketing is making me itchy. I am hugely nervous because it looks like a combination of No Man's Sky and Skyrim/Fallout, which means I'm expecting a hilarious buggy mess on day one. No plans to buy a new console for a game with those feelings but it might be on my xmas list if reviews and early impressions are good.
I've started Biomutant. Once you turn the narrator off it's pretty good.
I nearly paid £85 for the deluxe pre-order bundle on Steam the other day so I'm glad I engaged my brain and remembered about game pass.
There is a great looking special edition controller though. Still not buying any of it until the world agrees it's great though. I've been burned before...!
It launched in 2019 with poor reviews due to launch bugs, and repetitive missions. Sold badly. Over the past four years, the bugs were fixed, gameplay updated, missions amended, and loads of content added. I’d never give it much thought, but while rummaging through PlayStation Plus, spotted it and thought I’d give it a fair go.
It’s a fantastic game. Huge free roaming map (not on-rails like The Last Of Us).
be getting acquainted with the new Zelda
It was quite a faff fitting it to the desk to play. And even more annoying working out how to use it front of the TV. But recently I bought a GT Omega metal stand and that works great.
The wheel stays on the stand permanently. And the stand folds up and hides behind the door in our dining room out of the way when not in use.
I did find that it felt like it sped up from about 50% - feels like you're powering through.
