Yeah I'm also curious. The only minor bug-bear on the "number 1, never gonna sell it" guitar in my collection is the rather pale Pau Ferro board. Would love to be able to get it a few shades darker!

Ive brought some so should be here in a few days. Im going to try on my old squire strat to see what its like.

I've put two applications on a rosewood fretboard and its doesn't look much darker. I took some pics, so will try and upload in a bit.

I left both coats on for 24 hours and cleaned with lighter fluid before applying. Will do a few more coats this weekend and see of it makes any difference.

This was a quick test ( didn't even take the old strings off), but I worked the wax in for ages and I suspect it will need a lot of applications to go much darker.

That seems to look quite a bit darker.

I've got Fiddes wax with a tint in it. I bet it does the same thing at a fraction of the cost

I think the lighting in my photos suggests it is darker, but in reality it hasn't made that much difference yet. But I will do a few more coats and report back my findings.

Wouldn't mind trying it on my Seagull acoustic, but might try something on any partscasters that are going to be put together next year . Would be interested to see how folk find it.
