not sure there's enough room
What did p1$$ me off, was BBC1 and BBC2, showing exactly the same tribute/newsfeed all night - Why ?
Absolutely right to show it on one of channels, but surely in this day, there's room to accommodate the people that might want to watch what was actually scheduled

Offset "(Emp) - a little heavy on the hyperbole."

They should have learned from Phillip and changed the protocol. They had a record number of complaints when they showed the same on both channels when Phillip died. I watch about half an hour of the coverage, but after that they were basically repeating the same stuff to fill time.
Everyone senior in UK Media knew that the Queen had passed on by 14:00 yesterday, many would have been prepared for the inevitable earlier in day but as far as I can tell, they all adhered to the script i.e. no-one jumped the gun and announced before 18:30.
End of an era in the UK and I don't think you'll ever get that kind of agreement / coordination between all parties ever again. I doubt the BBC will be around when Charles passes on.
TC: Ma'am, do you like football?
HM: Not particularly.
TC: Can I have your FA Cup final tickets then?
I’m so bored I might as well be listening to Pink Floyd
