ed wynne from ozric tentacles has an interesting history on his wiki page  Ed Wynne - Wikipedia

(quote) Ed Wynne was born in WandsworthLondon, England, and is the son of English sculptor David Wynne,[2] and the grandson of English author Joan Grant. Family friend and late Beatles guitarist, George Harrison, encouraged a seven year old Wynne to pick up the guitar.[3] Wynne's father regularly had big names in music, such as Jimi Hendrix and Donovan, stay over at the house. (quote).

I always thought it was interesting that marillion were asked to do the music for the film Highlander before queen but they were touring at the time.
It was that film that first got me into queen so for me things could have been quite different.

Not an individual musician right enough.

Another good association is that Ed and his mates became part of a 'Wimbledon' set of musicians and creatives, one other member of the group was Martin Clunes!

Martin Clunes was Sherlock Holmes actor Jeremy Brett's nephew I believe.

Kelley Deal was a US airforce defence contractor before joining the Breeders.

America has it's own Bruce Dickinson / Brian May hybrid in the Offspring's Dexter Holland. He has a PHD in Molelcular Biology and has in the past lectured in between Oppspring albums. He also has made and sold his own brand of Mexican hot sauce and is a pilot too. Bet him and Fred Durst are proud of themselves.

    Who?

I think that you meant Nesmith.

It is true that his mother created Liquid Paper for typing corrections.

Nominative determinacy should have had the Nesmith family making its fortune from a combination of instant coffee and potato crisps.
