    Mike Nesbit from The Monkees
    Who?

I think that you meant Nesmith.

It is true that his mother created Liquid Paper for typing corrections.

Nominative determinacy should have had the Nesmith family making its fortune from a combination of instant coffee and potato crisps.
    Sorry, ironically, I stand corrected..Nesmith :)

Rivers Cuomo used to have one leg longer than the other. Underwent corrective surgery which involved breaking a bone on the shorter leg and having it stretched gradually 4 times a day (shudder).

Billy Corgan is addicted to pro wrestling and owns the NWA (National Wrestling Alliance).

Wouldn't that make the disparity greater?

That's Adrian Belew. You're thinking of Fashion.

(Which I think is an amazing bit of playing. Some fairly audacious harmony to take into the top 10.)

Haha you're right! Wrong way round. Good thing I wasn't his surgeon (or anyone's for that matter)!

Belew plays the solo on Boys.
Brian Robertson (Thin Lizzy, Motorhead, etc) played with Bowie briefly and,IIRC, said the hardest thing he'd ever had to play were the Belew parts on that.

On first reading I thought that said Clit Bang and had something to do with groupies!  :)

Barry White - famous as the king of lurve songs - died whilst I was on my honeymoon. I saw it reported on the TV in the bar of our hotel.

I took the fact that the Walrus of Love died during my honeymoon as a bad omen in our marriage.

We’ve been divorced 15 years now.

Matt Bellamy of Muse's father George was guitarist in The Tornados.
They were first British band to have a number one in both the UK and USA with Telstar.
Clem Cattini, drummer for The Tornados, is believed to have appeared on more UK number one singles than any other musician. Such as Grandad by Clive Dunn. Also apparently nearly a member of Led Zep as he knew John Paul Jones from session work.
This is true. He also drummed in the Wombles.

The bass player for Suede, Mat Osman, is the older brother of Richard Osman of Pointless and crime novel fame. Not wanting to be outdone by his baby brother, he's also turned his hand to writing and has published two historical fiction/crime novels himself. I've read the 1st one, it wasn't bad!

And Ricky Gervais was Suedes first manager. Richard is also registered blind.

Fred Durst was actually a biochemistry major and co-authored several influential papers on genome editing grains.
Pretty sure this isn’t true. Are you confusing him with Dexter Holland of The Offspring, who has a PhD in molecular biology (specifically, protein-coding regions of HIV genomes)?
