A goal and an assist for Mr Pritchard this afternoon ...

Is he good enough to come back to Spurs next season and get into the team?  We had 4 "home grown" players in the starting line-up today, which gives me hope that we might stop throwing money away on the under-achieving and over-priced "names", so AP could get a chance ...
Having trouble posting images here?  This might help.

And the mighty Villa humiliates the £gazillions of Man Utd. With 10 men :-)

With my sensible head on, he's probably not there yet. Probably his best game for us yesterday -but I think his size may prevent him from being a top player....

With Agbonlahor on the pitch, its like having only ten men surely, let alone when he's sent off it?

The gunners surrender a lead in the last minutes....bloody typical. Anyway, a point is more than they deserve.

Yeah, he can be a bit like that. On his day, unplayable. Those days are few and far between though :-(

Apparently in the offing according to many itkers... we were dreadful yesterday. Stoke were awful too which makes it worse... If we'd played Sess and Berahino at the same time (ie from the start) we'd have pissed it. Maybe having big Vic fit would have been a better. Dozza, Brunteh and Mozza are not the answer to the midfield conundrum either. :( Irvine is clueless. @skarloey

    Edit: Gone.

    @mudslide73

On balance it's Pulis for me.

Sherwood could build something long term but in the short term I fear for his ability to a) keep us up and b) bring us up if we go down.

BUT BUT BUT will Pulis a) insist on control of transfers and b) has he got his eye on the Toon gig?

I'd much rather see Sherwood at Spurs again, it's always good to have a gooner pulling the strings at our local rivals!

Good luck to Pardew, hope he does well at Palace.

I really want Newcastle to do shit without him.

  • The mighty Villa continues its inevitable march towards the Champions League automatic qualification places with the 0-0 destruction of Sunderland by utilising 10 men yet again.

We're toying with the opposition now ;-)

I think the Palace job is a cursed one, Pardew is taking a huge risk but his relationship with the Newcastle fans and delightful owner were pretty much going one way. All the best to him and a big thanks you for ending Chelsea's unbeaten record.

    Sacking Pulis was pretty stupid.

  • Didn't Pulis quit? I don't think he was sacked

I personally don't think it matters who we (West Brom) get next, as the structure behind it is the worst thing so id rather wait till they sort that about before we get a good manager as it'll just ruin managers until then

  • Yes, Pulis quit.  Supposedly it revolved around transfers being done without him and the club's agreement to resign Zaha on loan without his go ahead was apparently the final straw.  Also they stopped him wearing a baseball cap to their black tie dinners.

Pulis is just the bloke to tell Peace exactly what he can do with his beloved club structure, 'cause the whole damn thing is in ruins.

All JP wants from now on is a saleable asset with secure Prem status 'cause all his actions over the past 2 years scream to me that his head/ heart ain't in it. He wants to cash in and take his vast profit with him ASAP.

Which would either get him sacked, or not employed in the first place...
