Yea but everyone's nice when in a good mood and on holiday!

So this popped up on my FB memories today. Said it was 15 years ago to the day when I posted this link because Oasis had just broken up. Quite funny re-watching this tbh.

It genuinely sucks that a lot of industries just continue making things worse and worse through actions that are increasingly greedy - but our need for gratification as a society means we grumble and put up with it. The video game industry is especially annoying to me lately, with its emphasis on "whales" being targeted with microtransactions.

Just had a listen back to the Live at Knebworth gig, well as much as I could put up with. White's drumming on the DM songs isn't right. Too many fancy little fills etc..... not needed!

Yeah but you only need two guys from the band before you can call it a reunion. Apparently

So... two new Wembley dates announced in September next year.

Will be offered on a staggered invitation basis to fans who "missed out" last Saturday.

How will they know you missed out?  Presumably a registration process, but will they be able to exclude people who already got tickets?

I have an open ticket since sunday .. requesting refund for the difference between price paid for "platinum" and cost of advertised tickets bought with confirmed no other benefits in writing by them.
They played a straight bat first within a few hours of logging it, but when quoting previously upheld ASA "misleading" cases, the fact that it appeared under a different section to the normal tickets and the use of word "platinum" they have now gone off for further investigations twice and being very polite about it.

Got more up the sleeve as well in terms of other legalities, including the speed at which to buy, presentation of buying process as well as these "normal" tickets all being sold out with some screenshots.

Will keep updated in case its useful for others with "platinum". Cos if it works for me, precedent is key. It appears that if the prices were inflated for the normal seats under "in demand" that is fine under dynamic pricing, but because they are re branded/in a different it appears they have other benefits to customers and are thus misleading.

Absolutely no idea, as gestures go it's not quite giving money back to those who were taken for £350 per ticket, maybe better than nothing?
