I find the whole touchiness about the fine lines of 'objectification' puzzling.  It's it simply genetics.  I would like to see the fallout of someone saying to their partner "I don't find you in any way physically attractive and do not have any natural sexual desire for you. I do however feel you have a lot of other key attributes that make you a suitable partner.".

I used to run a small factory unit for a company producing a range of chemicals mainly used in cancer diagnostics.
Now, the main chemist always wore horrendous bermuda shirts, and i mean always - winter, summer etc.
No one gave a monkeys - the guy was super intelligent - a classic geek.
