I didn't like Prey. Bullet-sponge enemies, and I'm pretty sure I spotted the ending about three hours in.
I didn't finish it, I don't think. I feel like a whip through on Easy may be in order though :)

On a similar-but-different note I bloody adore Control and dearly hope they make another one

I loved Control's world, hated the random brutal difficulty spikes.

I played the game on the "no dying" mode. Just enjoyed the story and the action.

I didn't spot that - I might give it another go.

I don't mind hard, I just felt it was downright unfair in places. One time you'd walk into a space and be swamped and killed in seconds, the next you'd just wade through without a scratch.

I don't think the two Prey games really have anything to do with each other. The first one was great.

Yeah I found it tough the first time through but actually much easier the second time a couple of years later. I think my main learning was "don't be afraid to run away..." :)

you are right blame bethesda for demanding to call the 2016 game prey also. even the studio didn't want to call it prey.

The original Prey also had a killer Judas Priest soundtrack, from memory.

I've been playing ETS2 for years. It's a fabulous game. I particularly like listening to the non-English radio stations on it.

I liked Control but it did go on a little bit too long.

I'm replaying the Bioshock trilogy on Steam Deck atm, I might get the remastered original Tomb Raider trilogy after.

I like American Truck for the scenery but Euro Truck for the trucks. That said, I am happy with the Lonestar Chrysler-looking thing.

Power Wash Simulator looks glorious at 160fps.

Then Lady BMcH reminded me that I have Dragon's Dogma 2, and that looks pretty spiffy too, though about half the frame rate.

The kids had been watching YouTubers playing Infinite Craft recently. I foolishly said we could play it on my laptop and that’s our life now. (Ok, not quite, but it’s pretty fun trying to come up with first discoveries - Thomas the Tank Engine merged with a bunch of things gave some interesting results, as did Home Alone 2: Lost in New York. And yes, we merged them to get the first discovery Home Alone 2: Lost in Sodor.)

I've been playing ratchet and clank on the steam deck, besides a few stutter moments, plays really well.

I don't know what shocks me more, the fact that the Age of Empires franchise is still going, or the fact that my cousin just spent close to £2.5k on a new gaming laptop to play the game on, and then another £120 on the game Age of Empires.
